Essex rapper, Potter Payper, comes forward with the brand new music video to his latest song, entitled “Su Real”. Apparently the sequel to his Training Day mixtape is in the making, too.
“Su Real” has fuzzy, buzzing bass stomping all over the track, set against clapping, rattling drum. Then ethereal keyboard washes over the listener. Not for long, though, as the moment is very brief. Like ascending and being dragged back down, again. Raps spat with venom.
Its video, a Frankincense & Myrrh production, takes place largely outside a block of flats. Shot in the dark of night, it has a moody, daresay intimidating feel. Smoke wafts around, an air of mystery, maybe even criminality.
