Streetwear fans are going to freak out at our news. A new collaboration has been unveiled and we can’t do anything but love it, as our favourite celebrities are already doing. PrettyLittleThing has teamed up with Karl Kani and they have done literal magic.
Kani is one of the fathers of the modern day streetwear and PrettyLittleThing is, of course, one of the biggest current retailers. The collection is composed of 45 pieces inspired by the 90’s and full of bright colours, stripes, outerwear, lounge-wear and even swimwear, all inspired by Karl’s archives of vintage streetwear.
Umar Kamani, CEO at PrettyLittleThing said that the collaboration brings together two eras of fashion and embraces the culture to create diversity amongst fashion. To make things even better, the star of the campaign is Teyana Taylor, who has done an incredible job modelling for the brand.
The collection stays true to PLT’s affordable prices and marks its items from $20-$88. It is a homage not only to Kani, but hip-hop, urban wear and streetwear as a whole.
