In a recent interview with a Dutch music site 3voor12 and translated by Radiohead fan site At Ease, Jonny Greenwood discussed the band’s progress on a new album, as reported by Consequence Of Sound. He said, “We didn’t do anything together for too long, so restarting took a lot of time,w e’re working in periods now”. Radiohead are currently working on their ninth studio album album, a follow up to 2011’s King of Limbs. Within the interview, Grreenwood discussed that the band were re-doing their 1996 track “Lift” and compared it to “Nude” from their 2007 album In Rainbows, “we never found the right arrangement for [“Nude”], until then, ‘Lift’ is just like that. When the idea is right, it stays right. It doesn’t really matter in which form“.
