Ricky Martin is set to return to the story of Gianni Versace’s murder in FX’s hit anthology American Crime Story‘s third season, Versace. He previously played the role of Oscar Torre in the 1998 film, The Versace Murder.
For Versace: American Crime Story, he’ll be playing the role of Gianni Versace’s longtime partner, Antonio D’Amico. He’ll be joining Edgar Ramirez, who’ll headline as Gianni Versace, and Andrew Cunanan, who portrays his killer. Penelope Cruz also makes up a part of the star-studded cast as Gianni’s sister, Donatella Versace, who had taken over the company following his death.
The third season of ACS will be ten episodes long and and is currently aiming for 2018, following hot on the heels of second season Katrina. Production is expected to begin this month. Director, Ryan Murphy, will also shoulder some of the executive producing, along with Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson.
