British Afropop artist Valee Music has recently released her new single “Watora Moyo”, sharing with the listeners a taste of summer as her newest song is the perfect track to dance along with, even if you’re doing it alone in your room.
Valee Music was born in Zimbabwe and grew up in London. Her music proudly reflects the fusion of two cultures, and it is influenced by Afrobeats, House and Soul genres. Last year Valee Music opened the UK’s biggest southern African festival Zimfest, performing alongside artists like Zinhle, Thomas Mapfumo and Winky D.
Her debut single “Mina Nawe” received more than 45,000 online plays online and, together with her next releases “Vosho”, “Me And You” and “Dolla”, gained her the support of BBC Africa, Ben TV and Don City Radio among others.
Taken from her forthcoming debut EP Ying Yang, “Watora Moyo” marks her collaboration with Inkredible Music, who co-wrote and produced the single, which features pulsating rhythm, rich vocals and catchy instrumental, as it blends modern pop influences with afrobeat vibes.
About her latest release, Valee Music stated: “This is a song about finding love, holding on to it and cherishing the good times. I sing in 3 different languages so I cater to a wide audience”. You will definitely have a good time while listening to this powerful track so do not miss this chance!
