Rising R&B Pop Singer Scott Vlassis Shares Live Session Visuals For ‘Golden’

Berkshire-based singer-songwriter Scott Vlassis has shared a brand new visual for his single “Golden” that was released earlier this year via Polydor.

“Golden” is showcasing a classic ’80s electro-funk sound, still updated for 2021. It is a feel-good track that brings a dose of positivity. The single is also accompanied by a stylish video. It has a slick choreography in neon-lit tones that will remind you Ryan Gosling‘s classic film Drive!. In addition to the single and its official video, Scott Vlassis just dropped a live session visual in the same tones.

Scott Vlassis teased his single “Golden” at the end of last year. After that, it was shared on tastemaker Instagram account IMJUSTBAIT before caught the attention of the iconic dance troupe Diversity who choreographed routines on “Golden” irresistible groove sharing them with their TikTok followers.

This single is set to become a summer hit and Scott was looking forward to sharing this uplifting and dancefloor-ready track: “I’m so excited to be releasing ‘Golden’. It’s a song I wrote based on personal experiences, about how even when you’re feeling down, something or someone can provide a light to bring back up.

Scott’s warm and retro-tinged sound is influenced by the classic soul and R&B acts he listened to while growing up like Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross and Teddy Pendergrass. But he also has more contemporary influences such as Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars, Plan B, etc.

Scott Vlassis recorded his first track when he was 15 and never stopped after that. He described himself as a realist, being aware that working in the music industry can be bumpy and unpredictable. So for the last years, he has spent his evenings and weekends working on his sound, while he was building up his plumbing business by day.

As music is something really important for him, he hopes to help people to connect and feel better with his craft, spreading positivity.
