Robert Downey Jr., along with production partner and wife Susan Downey, are in the early stages of developing a new film. The untitled picture, which will be a comedy drama, is set to focus around a Presidential Debate. Screenwriter Bill Dubuque is also penned to the project, this will be Dubuque’s second collaboration with the Team Downey production company, after previously working with the duo on the 2014 film The Judge. Although the film is only in early stages of development, you’d expect Team Downey to push for a release date next year, aligning the picture alongside the many political debates taking place in the U.S for the run up towards the 2016 presidential election.
