Earlier in the year Robyn released Love Is Free which is a mini-album that was a collaboration with keyboardist Markus Jägerstedt and the late producer Christian Falk under the name La Bagatelle Magique.
Pitchfork has released a new short documentary which features Robyn and Jägerstedt discussing the creation of Love Is Free and what it was like working with Falk at the end of his life. They also perform their track “Lose Control” You can watch the video below.
In an interview alongside the performance Robyn Says about Falk:
“Losing him — there’s nothing good about it, Sometimes you really want to find reasons. You want to say that there’s a reason for everything. I don’t think that there’s any reason at all in the world why — when someone gets sick like that and they go through so much pain, and everyone around them goes through so much pain.”
