From the big screen of cinema to the little screen of television, the reputation of the Russo Brothers precedes them. Joe and Anthony Russo – behind the Superhero fest that was Captain America: Civil War – are to put down the IMAX cameras and head for the small screen for their adaptation of Water Hill’s 1979 cult classic The Warriors.
The brothers will write the series for Paramount TV and Hulu, but will not helm the project – the identity of whom has yet to be announced. On top of the two upcoming Avengers films, the Russo brothers also confirmed to be producing a remake of The Thomas Crown Affair, starring Micheal B Jordan.
