Beninois-Ghanaian producer, DJ and artist Rvdical The Kid has released the brand new single “NASA” alongside Ghanaian songstress Amaarae. With the song, he’s announcing his upcoming sophomore EP Little Planet, due to be released on August 14.
After the great success of his debut album Carte Blanche Rvidical is returning with a new EP that is shaped by his nomadic sojourns and multicultural influences. The young artist is supported from the likes of Pigeons & Planes, FACT Magazine and Soulection – just to mention a few.
So far Rvidical worked with rising musicians such as Tems and Maesu. With singer Amaarae he collaborated several times since 2017. Now they dropped their fourth shared project “NASA”.
“When Amaarae heard it she knew exactly what to do. Getting her bars off about intergalactic strippers and riding the beat like a spaceship. This record is a demonstration of me and Amaarae trading beats for bars” Rvdical says about the collaboration.
“NASA” could be the alternative, more shady theme of Rick and Morty. “It is a fun record I made with nothing particular in mind other than the pursuit of the exhilarating feeling of creating” the artist explains further.
The song comes with a great tension, modern hip-hop beats and offers a dreamy, spacey vibe. Amaarae’s soft vocals are meeting with hard rhythms and led to a unique sound. Listen to the first insight of the forthcoming EP below.
