Michigan-based rap and hip-hop artist and writer Ryn Scott is back with his fresh release “Way Far Away“.
The track is produced by Detroit producer and Bassment Sound 2.0 owner Jake Bass. Written during the COVID lockdown, the song was inspired by “that feeling of claustrophobia was setting in and I just wanted to go somewhere far away, way far away”, Ryan shares.
Ryan’s skillful fast-flow complements and balances out angelic vocals of Jesse Palter in the chorus. Overall, the song is full of hope and outstanding strength for those who are overcoming challenging times. The epic rhymes and catchy melody will make you instantly add the song to your favourites!
The track has been also accompanied by a music video directed, shot and edited by Josh Sikkema.
In his art, Ryn Scott showcases an unparalleled mix of musical talent as he uses harmony, rhythm, poetry and story-telling to deliver a unique sound to his audience.
After linking up with Detroit producer Jake Bass at Boca J Music, Ryn Scott performed on the ‘I’m Kind of A Big Deal‘ tour as an opener for Joyner Lucas at The Magic Stick, The Beacham and the House of Blues in Boston.
Ryn’s debut EP Becoming debuted in the top 40 of the iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap Chart before peaking at #20. He has also landed features with the likes of former Aftermath artist Jon Connor and West Coast artist Locksmith.
Ryn Scott shows no signs of slowing down and will arrive with more exciting news very soon! Listen to the brand new single “Way Far Away” below!
