San Francisco Rap Crew MacArthur Maze Drop New Single ‘San Pablo Dam’

The stylish new clip for “San Pablo Dam” by the Bay Area group MacArthur Maze has just been released. It is the third track from the group’s upcoming album, and it is a beautiful combination of lyrics and production.

For those who are not in the know with MacArthur Maze, they are a dynamic and excellent independent hip-hop group that draws from amazing elements of the San Francisco Bay Area.

Six emcees (Blvck Achilles, Champ Green, D.Bledsoe, Jane Handcock, Ian Kelly, and Roux Shankle) and four producers ( S. Komanski, DJ Basta, NOBL and DJ D Sharp) make up MacArthur Maze, which is led by DJ D Sharp, their permanent tour manager/producer who you may recognise as the DJ for the Golden State Warriors.

On this single, his three rapping sidekicks, who exhibit charisma on the mic, and unique lyrical abilities, are set against D Sharp’s old-school production, which spins with samples of singers and other instruments.

The accompanying video for “San Pablo Dam” is directed NOBL, whose editing and cinematography methods provide an intimate watching experience for the single, which may very well be the group’s finest single to date.

We look forward to more content from MacArthur Maze’s upcoming album, which will hopefully be released soon.
