Earlier this week, the team at DC Comics released their forthcoming comic movie line up, explaining exactly when we’d get to see all our favorite characters in action. However, fans were bewildered when the Sandman movie didn’t feature in the line up. Good news guys, there’s a reason Sandman didn’t get a shout out that’s got nothing to do with a feared cancellation!
Sandman’s own Neil Gaiman announced on Tumblr, the reason why Sandman was supposedly snubbed; “It’s not a DC Comics film. It’s a Vertigo film. That’s a different slate of films, and a different announcement”. That sums it up nicely now, doesn’t it? This only gives us more hope then, that an official Sandman announcement will hit headlines soon!
