School of Seven Bells (often stylized as SVIIB) are an American indie rock band from New York City that formed back in 2007. It originally consisted of Alejandra Deheza (vocals, guitar), her sister Claudia Deheza (keyboards, vocals) and Benjamin Curtis (guitar, synthesizers, vocals). Claudia Deheza left the band back in 2010. Curtis sadly passed away in December 2013 away after a battle with T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma.
Last month, Curtis’ bandmate Alejandra Deheza announced SVIIB, which is a new album featuring parts Curtis had recorded when he was alive. Now, Deheza shared “Open Your Eyes”, the album’s first song. You can Listen to it below via Noisey.
