Selena Gomez’ album Revival will be released on October 9 and the singer has said that it’s “the rebirth of Selena“. This album is the follow up to her 2013 album Stars Dance‘. Representatives of the singer confirmed to EW that Revival is indeed her next album. The announcement comes after her latest single “Good For You” which is available to buy now. In June, Gomez spoke to Ryan Seacrest where she said “there’s hints of” her highly publicized break up with Justin Bieber, but for the majority of it, it’s about her growing confidence.
In the interview she said: “I’m becoming a young woman and I’m comfortable with my sensuality. It’s just kind of not try-hard. It’s just perfect. I think to me that was exactly what I want people to see for the next chapter for me. I’m very confident in this record and you can hear it. but I’m vulnerable, I’m real, and I think it just shows a different side of me, and i’m really excited, and I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders“.
