Tickets are still available for a very special screening of the 80’s definitive rom-com When Harry Met Sally, introduced by none other than homegrown Hollywood export Simon Pegg and screenwriter Tess Morris, the team behind the hit UK comedy Man Up (2015). The screening takes place at 18.30 at the BFI Southbank, London, tomorrow (December 19) and the film is being shown as part of its Love Season.
When Harry Met Sally stars Billy Crystal, Meg Ryan and Star Wars‘ Carrie Fisher, and asks the big question: “Can men and women ever just be friends?” The Oscar-nominated film was written by the late Nora Ephron, the undisputed queen of romantic comedies such as Sleepless In Seattle(1993) and You’ve Got Mail(1998); and is directed by Rob Reiner, who has an impressive back catalogue of films, including the legendary This Is Spinal Tap(1984), as well as Stand By Me(1986), and The Princess Bride(1987).
Tickets are available through the BFI’s website or by calling the box office on 020 7928 3232.
