Skepta has finally announced the release date for his highly anticipated album, Konnichiwa.
The album has been years in the making and during that time, Skepta’s popularity has sky-rocketed. Thanks to the massive single “Shutdown”, Skepta has managed to reach new heights, such as reaching a bigger audience in America, working with Drake and being the spear-head of the Grime movement.
Back in March, in an interview with i-D, he told them he’d be finishing the album that week (March 16). Nearly a month later, Skepta has revealed the release date via his Instagram.
Ready for the big news? Konnichiwa comes out on May 6.
