Skins creator Bryan Elsley says the cult classic TV show that depicted troubled young adults in Britain may be making a comeback as an online series. He informed media that discussions have already begun about turning the popular E4 series into an online show. In the past, Skins has debuted a series online with new characters, to gauge the audience’s reaction and take their feedback into consideration.
Skins came to an end in 2013 following its seventh season Skins: Redux. The upcoming online series will again feature a new cast, which the show has done for every of its previous series to give young actors opportunities to showcase their actor talent. The show has launched the careers of successful actors such as Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire), Nicholas Hoult, Jack O’Connell and Kaya Scodelario.
