Slipknot’s replacement for the late Paul Gray, bassist Alessandro Venturella, was rushed to hospital during the metal goliaths’ most recent show in Hartford, Conneticut yesterday evening. Vocalist Corey Taylor reconvened the band to carry on with the show whilst Allesandro was en route to the hospital stating onstage: “We’re not sure what happened. He’s been put into an ambulance and he’s going to the hospital right now as we speak. We’ve had to modify some shit but we’re gonna keep on playing for you. It’s what we want, it’s what Alex would want“.
