Society of Numbers is the combination of Atlanta based MC Armanni Reign and New Zealand born, Drum & Bass duo The Upbeats. S.o.N is a hard punching, dark but mature debut EP from the new rap-electro combination which displays some of the best aspects of both artists. The upbeats provide a dark, cinematic backdrop to some fluent, unrelenting rhymes. Each song provides something different both musically and lyrically, this means that the 6 track EP passes you quickly and makes you dive in for another listen. Jake Garrett, 22 from the West Midlands. I graduated from Falmouth University in 2014 with a 2.1 in BA (Hons) Journalism. Currently I am based in sunny Spain, writing in the day, working of an evening and partying in the night. I’m an avid reader of fantasy novels, constant explorer of the world in which we live and passionate music enthusiast. Son of two ex-punk rockers, I grew up within the mid-2000’s indie uprising but now dwell within a sea of house music.
