The title of the 2017 reboot of the iconic web slinging superhero has been announced as Spider-Man: Homecoming, confimered by Sony pictures chairman Tim Rothman.
Rothman, speaking at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, said the title was in reference to the high school aged Spidey, while also showing him “trying to find his way home.”
This followed by a new piece of footage of Peter Parker coming home to his Aunt May talking to Tony Stark. This is thanks to a deal struck between Sony and Marvel that will see Spiderman part of the Marvel cinematic universe.
Homecoming will star British actor Tom Holland as Spidey and Marisa Tomei as Aunt May. The film is due to be released July 2017, however a cameo by Spiderman will feature in this years Captain America: Civil War.
