Is the world ready for an Emoji movie? Probably not – but its happening anyway. Sony already have one film based on modern technology in the works – Angry Birds – and now they are set on making another one. According to Deadline, Sony won a three-studio auction for an animation movie pitch, centering around the Emoji. The project is set to be co-written by Eric Siegel and Anthony Leondis. What is to be expected from this is unknown, but probably something similar to Minions. A newly invented world, with various characters representing different emotions. Who knows?
