Introducing 17-year old singer-songwriter Sophie Morgan from Widnes, Cheshire, with her new offering “Kensington”. The single was first premiered in the summer on BBC Lancashire, after uploading a demo of the song to the BBC Introducing Uploader. The track was later selected by Tom Robinson to be played on his BBC Radio 6 Introducing show. Now ending an exciting year with a string of shows in November and December, Sophie is playing a handful of London’s most iconic, intimate venues – her first time gigging in the city. With a fine collection of piano-led, storytelling songs, delivered by a voice that belies her tender years, Sophie continues to silence and mesmerize even the rowdiest of audiences; truly a hidden jewel that won’t remain hidden for much longer.
