After Sorry To Bother You premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January, Annapurna picked up the directorial debut of rapper Boots Riley. It was a heavenly discussed topic afterwards and now the general public will get to know why. Right now we can get the first glimpse of the bizarre comedy sci-fi film.
The whole story plays in an alternate universe. Lakeith Stanfield plays Cassius Green who lands himself a job as a telemarketer. After he realizes that he can use his “white voice”, he begins to make his way up to the top of the sales world. His girlfriend played by Tessa Thompson is bothered by that a lot as she is an activist.
