Emerging pop artist Taija New has just released her empowering new single “Over Your Allure“, an anthem for anyone finding the strength to leave a toxic relationship behind. The song features the artist’s signature sharp lyricism and bold vocals, confidently alternating between fast-paced rap verses and harmonious refrains.

Hailing from Springfield, Massachusetts, Taija New, also known as the Newbian King, began her music career performing at local open mics. Her journey has been a steady climb since the release of her debut EP Color Me Complex in 2015, which featured the popular single “Newbian King”, a track that boldly challenges gender binaries.
In 2017, she released her second project Heart on the Stage, which was followed by a two-year tour. Throughout her career, Taija has demonstrated dedication to her craft, transforming her shows into full live productions. She has performed alongside big names like Jennifer Hudson, Todrick Hall, K.Michelle, and Tiffany Evans.
Despite the obstacles presented by the pandemic, Taija continued to make her mark in 2022 with the well-received single “Couture” and her first single from her third solo project, “Body on Revenge”.
