St. Vincent recently took a trip back to her home state of Texas to film a short documentary for Nowness. The film is directed by Alan Del Rio Ortiz who has shot music videos for the likes of Blood Orange, Solange and Smith Westerns. The video shows Annie Clark read a reflective voiceover, exploring a deserted country road, climbing rocks and playing acoustic guitar. She then sings ‘The Star – Spangled Banner’ to a small crowd at a baseball game. You can watch the video here.
