Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is coming to theaters at Christmas in the UK and rumours about the appearance of new characters into the saga have been confirmed with the presentation of the Sith troopers!
Disney has revealed a few images of the new members of the dark side, with opinions popping out all over the internet in a matter of seconds. These Sith troopers, as Disney decided to call them, look exactly as the First Order stormtroopers, the only difference is they are red instead of the original white.
Despite all the positive comments about it, some fans are complaining about how disappointed they are, as they were expecting something much more elaborated and creative. Over the years, updates have been made to the soldiers’ looks, and they were expecting this would happen to these guards too.
Up until now, we don’t know what the new characters’ role will be, but as their name suggests, it seems that Disney has created new guards to protect an enemy of our beloved Jedi. I guess we will have to wait for more details.
However, what we are going to have for sure very soon, is new merchandising. Images of LEGO sets, Funko Pops and many more have already been shared and San Diego Comic-Con is next week, where the attendants will be able to see an actual Sith trooper costume used in the movie. Hopefully, they will reveal more details during the exhibition!
