Following Stewart Lee’s TV stand up comedy performance for BBC Two earlier in March and April 2014, is the release of his DVD Stewart Lee’s Comedy Vehicle 3 which is due out in stores on the 10th of November 2014. In his usual subdued and intellectual style, Lee bangs on about England and its state of affairs in the political sector, he explores the idea of satire, and asks the question whether it is possible to have a context free-word. He’s not getting off lightly though as Chris Morris, creator of Brass Eye interrogates Lee over his comedic inventions. On behalf of Stewart, I will mention that the last series of Comedy Vehicle won a BAFTA Award for best comedy program, and this one hasn’t, ah they must have felt sorry for him that time. See the brilliant trailer for his latest DVD release here.
