With her first offering entitled “Why” released earlier this winter, Swedish artist BJOERN, real name Linnéa Björn, is back with a new single “Hold Me” which is out today, March 19! The artist has also planned another series of singles to be released during the year.
The single “Hold Me” is about fear, loneliness, mental illness, low self-esteem. This song gives the strength to move forward, to develop as a human being and to gain self-confidence.
BJORN wrote this song at home, when she had just moved to a city she didn’t know, and where she didn’t know many people. The artist who has had problems with mental illness uses music to bring out the bad energy and old brain ghosts that might come back. The artist has been described as the “Next Swedish pop sensation” by the press and music professionals around the world.
She has had a lot of good reviews from Hilly Dilly for example, who says “We are really digging this” or PopMani: “Bjoern makes an incredibly nice debut and to dare to show such vulnerability as a solo artist is extremely courageous”, and Elin Stromberg from P3: “A debutant I really think you should keep an extra eye on in 2020”.
