Berlin-based Swiss artist Ay Wing has just dropped a brand new single that was inspired by the Divine Feminine and is titled “Lift Me Up”. This release is the first of a three-song series named Cycle.
The world is recovering from a global pandemic and the lyrics to “Lift Me Up” are calling for community, collaboration and solidarity among everyone, with Ay singing, “lift Me up… as the world goes crazy”
This first single of her upcoming EP is a dazzling mix of funk percussion and synths. With “Lift Me Up”, Ay Wing has created a summer anthem that will make everybody dance.
The three-song series is speaking to a new generation of feminists, its goal is to empower the feminine energy in all of us but also to unveil a better balance between the masculine and feminine cycles of society and individuals.
Ay Wing is an independent artist that creates energetic, beat-driven alternative R&B songs accompanied by introspective lyrics. Femininity and spirituality are themes that are central in her music and she likes to explore emotional journeys while influencing people to come back to their centers.
Each of the three songs from Cycle will be accompanied by a live session and music video with hybrid visuals. These videos were produced by a team of 25 women at Berlin’s Oatmilk Studios. We don’t have a date for the video release yet but we can be certain that it will arrive very soon.
