Taylor Swift Reveals ‘Lover’ Festivals And Tour Dates For 2020 | Music News

After having dropped her seventh studio album Lover last month, Taylor Swift has unveiled her 2020 tour dates to support the record. The tour will start in Belgium on the 20th of June, before carrying on through the rest of Europe and Brazil. The tour will then lead the artist to perform in the United States, where her planned four US shows will be titled Lover Fest West and Lover Fest East.

As the singer has stated on Instagram “The Lover album is open fields, sunsets + SUMMER”, she then added “I want to perform it in a way that feels authentic. I want to go to some places I haven’t been and play festivals. Where we didn’t have festivals, we made some. Introducing, Lover Fest East + West!”

Although, by now, only four shows are planned to take place in the USA, these performances will be special for the artist. Indeed, the first two shows, Lover Fest West, will be held at the new SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, making Swift the first artist to perform at the new venue and the first woman in history to open an NFL stadium.

On the other hand, the last two shows of her summer tour Lover Fest East will take place at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts on July 31 and August 1.

Fans have noticed the lacking of scheduled UK dates, but, as Taylor has confirmed, “additional UK and international dates and festivals will be announced soon”. We are sure that the pop-star won’t let her fans down!
