Taylor Swift‘s return to Spotify is seen by some as being inevitable, but when one of her songs did reappear on the streaming platform, it was instead credited to Lostprophets as opposed to her. The track ‘I Knew You Were Trouble‘ appeared on the Lostprophets page complete with some rather questionable artwork, but the song itself was definitely by Swift, not the welsh band.
Lostprophets, of course, was the former band of convicted Peadophile Ian Watkins who is currently in prison serving a twenty-nine year sentence. A Spotify spokesperson admitted that they were investigating the “very weird” situation.
