Actor, Noel Neill, the actress behind the first ever Lois Lane on the Adventures of Superman TV series has died aged 95. She died on Sunday at her home in Arizona following a long illness, Jim Nolt confirmed in a statement. Born in 1920, she found a job as a singer at the Del Mar Racetrack, her connections leading her straight to a contract with Paramount Movie Studios.
A series of small, uncredited roles in the 1940s eventually worked out when Columbia Pictures borrowed her to make 15 episodes of a comic based serial tv show about a man from another world who discovers he has super-human powers.
