The Attic Sleepers have just released a new single titled “Berlin”, the track is taken from their debut album titled Transit out via Loftrum Records on September 1.
“Berlin” is a folk-pop and post-rock songs very interesting. The melody is tuneful and easy to remember but not foreseeable. The vocal part is impressing, Mathias Barfod has an expressive and stylish voice. The guitar and the battery can create a surprisingly rich and rhythmic musical accompaniment.
Copenhagen-based duo spent 8 months in Germany exploring new place to find the inspiration behind their debut album. Moving away from everyday life to go to unknown places is a fundamental part of the creative process of Mathias Barfod (vocals/guitar) and Matias Knigge (drums).
