A TV series on legendary Rock band The Beatles is set to air on NBC. The TV show is currently in the early stages of development. Band members Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Ringo Starr and George Harrison will be the focus of the show, which will show their rise to fame and the top of the music charts. The series will consist of eight episodes. The creator of The Tudors, Michael Hirst is set to write the TV series. He will also serve as executive producer on the show alongside Ben Silverman and Teri Weinberg. A working title for the program is also yet to be decided.
