After more than a five-year hiatus, The Black Eyed Peas are set for a reunion very soon. The news was revealed by Will.i.am in an interview with Capital FM. The news came as a surprise as Will has already had a successful solo career both writing and performing his own material and appearing on BBC‘s The Voice for all six series. Fergie, the female performer of the band, has also had many albums and a solo career in between working with The Peas.

 

The band have released four albums in all and have been one of the most successful bands of the decade. Their hits include “Where is the Love”, “I’ve Gotta Felling”, “The Time (Dirty Bit)” and “My Humps”. The final of The Voice talent show which features Will.I.Am aired yesterday, April 9. There is no word on when the new album will be released but we can look forward to hearing some new material and potential hits in the near future.
