The Black Keys have cancelled their UK tour after drummer Patrick Carney dislocated his shoulder in a swimming accident earlier this month. “We are very sorry to have to cancel our upcoming performances through March 10. Patrick needs time to heal. We thank all of our fans for their support and we’re looking forward to getting back on the road“, the band said in an official statement. Carney was on holiday in the Caribbean when a giant wave reportedly slammed into him in the ocean floor and the drummer was taken into hospital and put under anesthesia. Unfortunately, the dates will not be re-scheduled but refunds are available at point of purchases. The Black Keys cancelled dates are as follows:
Manchester Phones 4u Arena (February 27)
Birmingham LG Arena (February 28)
Glasgow SSE Hydro (March 1)
London The O2 Arena (March 3)
Leeds First Direct Arena (March 5)
