Rising pop rock band The Como Brothers have surprised their fans by released a brand-new romantic single titled “Shooting Star”.
The Como Brothers is formed by real-life brothers Matt and Andrew Como. They are both singers, songwriters and performers born and raised in Long Island and really passionate about music. Their pop and rock blend with a little bit of a blues vibe and their heartfelt lyrics make the perfect combination.
Back in 2012, the dynamic duo debuted with their first studio EP titled The Speed of Sound and have been dropping several hits and albums ever since.
In 2014, The Como Brothers recorded an EP called Imagination in NYC, featuring drummer Aaron Sterling and Andy Burton on keyboards. Next year they released a live album with the same collaborators called Live at 89 North!
Their latest tracks have also been recorded at Germano Studios in NYC with Grammy nominated engineer Kenta Yonesaka.
Como Brothers’ music has made it into several famous TV shows such as Keeping Up with the Kardashians and MTV’s The Real World and it has been played in stores like H&M, Zara and Pull and Bear.
“Shooting Star” continues in the same vein as their previous songs in terms of style and theme. Rock hard-hitting vibes kick in as the song starts and it continues throughout the track. However, the mood switches to a more ‘popish’ soft style during the chorus, mirroring the sweet, romantic message from the lyrics. The beats and vibes mix give as a result this amazing new single that everyone should listen and jam to right now!
