With Warner Bros. releasing a new trailer for con-artist film Focus, we’ve got another chance to get a good look at Will Smith and Margot Robbie taking center stage. Directed by Crazy, Stupid, Love‘s Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, the film revolves around seasoned con man Nicky (Smith) who becomes involved with rookie con artist Jess (Robbie), only to ditch her when things get a little too close for comfort. Fast forward three years and Jess is now a huge con woman bad-ass, who’s latest scheme gets a little risky when Nicky re-enters her life.
The first trailer for Focus was pretty intense and slick, while this one is a little lighter and shows off the more comedic side, a side of Smith we’re more familiar with. I can’t say I’m over excited for this movie and I actually preferred the first, more intense trailer. Still, it will be a great chance to get a look at Smith and Robbie’s onscreen chemistry before their pairing in the up and coming Suicide Squad movie.
