Dipset are back again. The Harlem rap crew, formerly part of Jay-Z’s Roc-A-Fella label, have started the year with another (hopefully permanent) reunion. Teaming up with DJ Funk Flex on HOT 97, they took over the radio show to announce their new tour, and more importantly, their new music. “Better Have My Money” is the first release from their upcoming mixtape, to be hosted by heavyweight hit-makers Swizz Beatz, DJ Mustard and DJ Khaled. After recent comebacks from New York rap groups including The LOX and G-Unit, a Diplomats reunion was inevitable. I wonder if they’ll be able track down The Heatmakerz for production and really re-capture their sound. Stream the new track below.
