Whilst it was no secret that a second season of Hulu it The Handmaid’s Tale was on its way, fans can finally get excited over some new developments; it has been announced that production began on Season 2 which is due to debut on Hulu this April.
The news was shared via a video posted on Twitter; the small clip showed a figure running in the dark, not revealing much bar the production news.

The first season of The Handmaid’s Tale, based on the novel by Margaret Atwood, became a pop culture sensation amidst a relevant political climate. It earned Hulu its first Outstanding Series Emmy, with its star Elisabeth Moss also earning her first Emmy for Outstanding Actress, having previously been nominated for her work in Mad Men.
The first season of The Handmaid’s Tale can be caught on Hulu, with a while to go before its Season 2 commences in April.
