The second album of The Killers, Sam’s Town, was released 10 years ago in September. They have announced that there will be a special reissue and a “two day extravaganza” in Las Vegas.
They will reissue Sam’s Town on two-disc vinyl, featuring remastered recordings of the LP’s original tracks. A demo of “Peace Of Mind” and the Pet Shop Boys remix of “Read My Mind” will also be part of it.
The location of their anniversary event is the Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall in Las Vegas. The Killers will perform from Friday, September 30 to Saturday, October 1. Don’t want to miss the spectacle? Tickets will go on general sale this Friday, August 5.
