The Libertines have now added a headline slot at Benidorm’s Low Festival to their already prestigious line up of Ibiza Rocks, T in the Park and Benicassim. Low Festival will take place in Benidorm from July 24 to July 26. Already announced on the line-up are fellow headliners Kasabian and other bands such as The Drums, The Raveonettes, The Growlers, L.A and Nacho Vegas.
In other Libertines news, their new album is to be expected later this year and Carl Barat has recently expressed his wish for Noel Gallagher to produce it: “I’m going to email Noel Gallagher. I know he’s really busy, but hopefully he’s got a bit of time for the Libertines who love him so. Noel’s Noel, isn’t he? I’d love to work with him. He’s hilarious, but he has such clarity of vision as well. That’s something the Libertines could certainly use”.
