The 8th of September appears to be a rather auspicious day for a couple of bands to release a new studio album, and The National just happens to be one of them.
After four years, the Ohio-based band is planning to drop their next record, Sleep Well Beast – their seventh one, so far – on the 8th of September. We’ve been lucky enough to get a sneak peak of the album in the form of three singles: “The System Only Dreams In Total Darkness”, “Guilty Party” and “Carin At The Liquor Store”.
