Smashing Pumpkins have recently confirmed details for an acoustic tour that will see them performing twenty dates around the US. The band will be joined on the road by Liz Phair, marking the singer’s first US tour in six years.
The band will also reunite with its original drummer Jimmy Chamberlin, who left the band from 2009 until last year. For this tour, entitled ‘In Plainsong’, Smashing Pumpkins will perform a stripped-down set, with promises of creating an “acoustic-electro evening” of music.
