During their recent BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge session, The Vaccines covered One Direction’s “Night Changes” – changing it into a more sultry, low-key tune. Their upcoming album English Graffiti is due to be released on May 25 and was produced by the band themselves along with Dave Fridmann and Cole MGN.
In a recent interview, lead singer Justin Young described the new record as “quite eclectic sounding in terms of music“, and went on to reveal that it’s more rock orientated rather than their usual indie sound: “…sounds more like a rock record than an indie record – which was one of the big aims… I think it’s an ambitious record as well”.
