The Wanted’s Nathan Sykes has pulled a Taylor Swift and written a song about his ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande. Since The Wanted have taken a pause in the music industry, Sykes has been busy in the studio, preparing to launch his solo career and evidently, Swift has been influencing his music. Ariana, 21, is unaware of this upcoming track but Nathan assures us that there’s no negativity coming from it. “It’s important not to be selfish with writing so there’s no detailed version of events. And there’s no bad blood. She’s a lovely girl. We split because of the long-distance thing. There was that amazing moment at the start of the relationship where we both convinced ourselves, ‘yeah, long distance won’t matter. It will be fine’, but it was impossible”, he said. Grande is currently dating rapper Big Sean.
