SXSW is the one place you can be guaranteed to hear the greatest new music first. Not breaking from tradition, last Friday, The Weeknd debuted a rumoured new song titled “Mood Music” whilst performing live at a YouTube party during the music festival in Austin, Texas. “Mood Music” was produced by Chicago producer Mano, who was also Kanye West’s former tour DJ. The new track comes after the enormous success of his last release “Earned It”, which appeared on the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack alongside records from Beyonce, Ellie Goulding and Sia.
