The xx have already started 2017 with a bang, making the wait for their newest album, I See You, a little more bearable with the release of a new single, “Say Something Loving”.
The hightlight of the song is the vocals of singers Oliver Sim and Romy Madley Croft, their voices interwining perfectly as they sing about finding a new love after a long time, all those insecurities and fears that come with a new love after being hurt.
The track was teased on Twitter by the trio with a one-minute clip on New Year’s Eve, showing off, once again, the vibe of the new album, which seems to be happier, celebrating life and love.
I See You comes out on Friday, January 13.
