Immaculate LA bassist/singer Stephen Bruner – better known as Thundercat – has announce his new mini album entitled The Beyond / Where The Giants Roam. The six-track mini album comes produced by Flying Lotus, with Kasami Washington on saxophone and Dennis Hamm on piano. Herbie Hancock, but also Miguel Atwood Ferguson and Mono/Poly are featured on the release. The album will be the first from Thundercat since 2013’s Apocalypse. Although, he did contribute to Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly, which is more than enough to leave his mark on 2015. The Beyond / Where The Giants Roam is due for release on June 22.
